Hardest yet and just missed the rain!!

Today's run has been the hardest by far. I'm not sure why, it wasn't too hot or windy, just a tough one.
I did the same route as before starting off a little quicker, (which i think was a mistake) down Bennet's lane onto the prom going well.
Got to about Wynstay road and felt really heavy on my feet and breathing very hard. I carried on round the tennis court loop and back on to the prom and felt I had to have a breather so I walked for 30 seconds then started back up again.
Carried on along the prom to the end and had to walk again for about 30 seconds before turning down Bennet's lane again.
The last bit was a killer, I felt really tired!!

Details:
Start Time: 15:00
Duration: 26:18
Distance: 4.84 km
Avg Speed: 11.04 kph

About the same as last time. At least it wasn't slower. I think I will take a well earned rest now and maybe have a go of FIFA 07on my PS2 tonight that i got for a bargain from Amazon.

You will have good days, you will have bad days. The most important thing is that you still run no matter what - which you did.

The end result of today's run was that you achieved a new personal best.

You also learned something - starting too quickly is not always the answer. A constant steady pace is usually best.

Every run is an experience, a learning process. If you have learned something whether it is good or bad, then it has all been worthwhile.

John,
I think I have added the Analytics to my page. I will have to check my stats in a couple of hours to check if I have anything on it to see if it is working.

(Thats assuming i have any visitors to my blog ;->)
